Solmeera Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
This policy explains how Solmeera approaches "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. It supplements our Privacy Policy at solmeera.com/privacy, which describes everything we collect and how we protect it. Questions: privacy@solmeera.com.
1. Our position
Solmeera is a dating service for Christian adults. We do not believe we collect consumer health data. We don't ask about your health. We don't collect medical, fitness, or biometric information. We don't infer health conditions from how you use the app, and we don't want to.
Washington and Nevada define "consumer health data" very broadly, however, and because of that breadth, information we collect from you from time to time may be considered consumer health data in those jurisdictions. This policy exists so that, whichever view you take of those definitions, you know exactly what we collect and what your rights are.
2. What we actually collect
The closest things we collect are the profile facts you give us so we can suggest matches — your faith path, the gender(s) you'd like to be matched with, and an approximate location that is deliberately widened before it ever reaches us. All of it is described in full in our Privacy Policy, Sections 2 and 3. All of it comes from you, directly, in the app: nothing is pre-selected for you, we don't buy information about you, we don't collect it from data brokers or other companies, and we don't derive it from your behavior. We use it solely to provide the matching service you signed up for.
3. Sharing
We do not sell this information. We do not share it for advertising. It is processed only by the service providers who run our infrastructure — our database and storage host, Supabase — under contracts that limit them to processing on our instructions. Our analytics and crash-reporting providers receive no faith, orientation, or matching-preference data by design. We have no affiliates, and no third party receives this information for its own use.
If we ever wanted to share consumer health data as Washington defines it, we would be required to obtain your separate, signed authorization first. We have never asked for one because we have never shared any.
4. Your rights in Washington and Nevada
If you are a Washington or Nevada resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the information we have about you. Email privacy@solmeera.com from the address on your account.
- Withdraw consent. Change your faith path (Profile) or your matching preference (Settings) any time in the app. Because telling us who you'd like to meet is intrinsic to a matching service, fully withdrawing consent to that collection means deleting your account.
- Delete. Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account, or request deletion at solmeera.com/delete-account. Timing and the narrow legally required exceptions are described in our Privacy Policy, Sections 6 and 7.
- Appeal. If we decline a request, email privacy@solmeera.com with "Appeal" in the subject line and we'll take a second look, responding within the timeframe your state's law requires. If we deny your appeal, Washington residents may contact the Washington Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
5. Changes
If our practices or the law change, we'll update this page and the effective date above. The current version is always at solmeera.com/health-data-privacy.
