Solmeera Terms of Service

Effective June 19, 2026

Welcome to Solmeera. We made this app to help Christians find love, friendship, and belonging on solid ground. These Terms are an agreement between you and Solmeera LLC. Please read them — when you create an account, you agree to them.

If you have questions, write to support@solmeera.com.

A few things worth knowing up front. Section 12 limits the money we owe you if something goes wrong. Section 13 says lawsuits go to courts in Massachusetts and that you and we both bring claims as individuals — not as part of a class. Sexual-assault claims and small-claims-court claims are carved out from those rules. Please read those sections carefully.

1. Who we are

Solmeera is published by Solmeera LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company:

Solmeera LLC
82 Wendell Avenue, Suite 100
Pittsfield, MA 01201

In these Terms, "Solmeera," "we," "us," and "our" mean Solmeera LLC. "You" and "your" mean you, the person using the app.

2. Eligibility

To use Solmeera, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be legally able to enter into this agreement.
  • Be located in the United States when you use Solmeera. (We launch in the US; we may expand later.)
  • Not be a registered sex offender under the laws of any jurisdiction.
  • Not be barred from using Solmeera under applicable export-control laws or sanctions, and not be located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country.
  • Not have been previously removed from Solmeera by us.

If you create an account on behalf of a company, organization, or other person, you confirm you have authority to do so.

About age. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 on Solmeera, and we don't run identity or background checks. If you suspect a minor has registered, email safety@solmeera.com and we'll remove the account promptly. Where appropriate, we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, as we are required to do under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).

3. Your account

You create one account for yourself with one verifiable email address. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens through your account. If your account is accessed without your permission, tell us right away at privacy@solmeera.com.

You agree the information you give us is accurate. If your situation changes — you turn 18, you move, you change denominations — please update your profile.

You can choose how your name appears (first name only or first + last) in Settings → Display Name.

4. The Service

Solmeera helps you connect with other Christians. You build a profile, set preferences, browse and like profiles, match with people who like you back, and message your matches.

Matching. We match using a faith-centered compatibility score. Faith — your denomination and how often you attend services — is the largest single factor. We also consider relationship status, hopes about children, distance, and recency of activity. The math runs on our servers.

Faith path. Solmeera offers four faith paths at launch: Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, and "Respectful of faith." You pick yours; nobody else picks for you.

Matching with the same gender. By default, you'll be shown people of the opposite gender. If you'd like to be matched with people of the same gender, you can change that in Settings — and we'll ask you for separate, explicit consent first because it concerns sensitive information about you.

Phone verification. Solmeera is free to browse, but to send a like, accept a match, or send a message you'll first verify your phone number. This one-time step is one of the most important things we do to keep Solmeera honest — it won't catch everyone, but it makes Solmeera a much harder place for fakes and bots to operate. You'll get a single text message with a code. We use a service provider, Twilio, to send it. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We never share your number, and we don't use it to send marketing or notifications — only the verification code.

AI suggestions. When you write your bio or answer a prompt, you can ask Solmeera for a suggestion. We send a short prompt to Anthropic Claude — an AI service — and return its draft to you. The suggestion is just a draft. You write the final version. The suggestion is held in your phone's memory until you tap "Save."

No verification. Solmeera does not verify identity, run background checks, or confirm anyone is who they say they are. Profiles describe self-reported facts. Use the same caution you would in any new relationship. We provide tools to block, report, and unmatch — please use them.

5. Phone verification

To keep Solmeera honest, we ask you to verify your phone before you can like, match, or message. You can browse the app without verifying.

How it works. When you choose to verify, you enter your phone number and tap "Send code." By tapping "Send code," you agree to receive a one-time verification text from Solmeera. We use Twilio to deliver it. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You enter the code we text you, and you're verified.

One phone, one account. A phone number can be verified on only one active Solmeera account at a time. If a number is already in use on another account, we won't verify it on a second one. Using a phone number you don't control, a number that isn't a real mobile line, or a number you aren't allowed to use is grounds for removing your account.

We only text you the code. We don't send marketing texts, promotional texts, or notification texts. The only text we send is the verification code (and another code if you ask us to resend one). Match and message notifications come through app notifications, not text.

Message frequency, rates, and opt-out. This is the Solmeera phone verification program. Message frequency depends on your activity — typically one message each time you request a code. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email support@solmeera.com. To stop receiving texts, reply STOP; note that without a verified phone you won't be able to like, match, or message on Solmeera.

Changing your number. In this release, there's no in-app way to change a verified number. If you need to change it, email support@solmeera.com — we'll confirm it's really you and make the change for you, usually within 24 hours.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Solmeera is free to use at the Seed tier, which is the default. We offer optional paid subscriptions:

  • Vine at $14.99/month or $59.99 every six months.
  • (Additional tiers may be added later. The price and terms at the time of purchase will be shown to you in the app.)

The price, length, and renewal period of each subscription appear on the purchase screen before you confirm.

Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, charged through your Apple ID or Google Play account.

Cancellation. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep the Vine features until then.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. To stop being billed, cancel the subscription in your device settings before deleting your account.

Restore Purchases. If you reinstall Solmeera, sign in on a new device, or move your profile, tap "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen and your active entitlement will be restored.

Refunds. Solmeera does not issue refunds directly. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time and you keep the Vine features until the end of your current paid period. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled by Google at play.google.com.

Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and you'll have the chance to cancel before the new price applies. We won't charge a higher price without your consent.

Free trials. If we offer a free trial, the terms of the trial — its length and what happens at the end — appear on the purchase screen. If you do not cancel before the end of the trial, the subscription begins automatically at the listed price.

7. How to behave on Solmeera

Solmeera is built for marriage-minded, kind, and respectful people. To keep it that way, you agree not to:

  • Pretend to be someone you're not.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or send unwanted explicit content to anyone.
  • Send messages that demean, dehumanize, or attack anyone — including based on their faith path, ethnicity, gender, or anything else about who they are.
  • Send sexual content of any kind. Solmeera is not a place for explicit photos or messages.
  • Solicit, advertise, promote, or facilitate any illegal activity — including but not limited to commercial sex acts, sex trafficking, controlled substances, or violence.
  • Solicit or send money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or financial information.
  • Run scams, romance fraud, multi-level marketing pitches, or any commercial solicitation.
  • Recruit users for other apps, services, or off-platform contact under false pretenses.
  • Use Solmeera to spread illegal content, hateful content, or misinformation.
  • Record or share another user's private communications, photos, or personal information without their consent (including doxxing, screenshots posted publicly, or sharing contact details).
  • Post content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, trademarks, or right of publicity.
  • Try to access another user's account, scrape Solmeera, reverse-engineer the app, or interfere with how Solmeera works.
  • Create more than one account, or create an account if we've already removed you.

Safety reporting. If someone violates these rules, please tap Block or Report on their profile or in your conversation. Reports go to our safety team. If someone is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233) directly.

8. Your content

You own what you post. You decide what to share — your photos, your bio, your prompt answers, and your messages.

By posting content on Solmeera, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, copy, modify (for size, format, and safety reasons, including automated content moderation), and process that content for the purpose of running the Service. This license ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except for limited backups, content already shared with another user (which we cannot recall on their device), and any retention required by law. When you ask for an AI suggestion, you authorize us to send limited context — your demographics and your current bio or prompt context — to Anthropic to generate the suggestion.

You agree that:

  • You have the right to share whatever you post.
  • You won't post content that is illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • You won't post photos that include minors, explicit nudity, weapons used to harm, or content that violates Section 7.

Photo screening. We screen every photo you upload using AWS Rekognition automated content moderation. Photos that show explicit nudity or violence at high confidence are rejected and deleted. Photos in a borderline range are queued for manual review. Automated moderation isn't perfect — please report anything you see that shouldn't be there.

Push notifications. If you turn on notifications, we'll send the matched user's first name and a short preview of new messages (up to about 100 characters). On your device's lock screen this can be visible to anyone who picks up your phone. You can hide previews entirely in your device's notification settings.

9. How we moderate

Solmeera is an interactive computer service that hosts content posted by you and other users. We are not the publisher of that content; you are responsible for what you post.

We may, but are not required to, monitor, review, edit, refuse, restrict, or remove any content at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice. Any moderation actions we take are taken in good faith to keep Solmeera safe and aligned with these Terms.

Appeals. If you believe we made a mistake — for example, if we removed a photo or banned an account in error — email support@solmeera.com with a description of what happened. We aim to review within 7 business days. Decisions on appeal are final.

10. Reports and removals

Solmeera takes specific kinds of reports very seriously and acts on them quickly. The following are the channels for the most common ones. Solmeera publishes this notice-and-removal information at solmeera.com/safety and in these Terms, in plain language, so it's clear and accessible.

10.1 Nonconsensual intimate imagery (TAKE IT DOWN Act)

It is a violation of these Terms — and a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. § 2252C — to publish or threaten to publish intimate visual depictions of a person without their consent, including AI-generated or "deepfake" depictions.

If an intimate visual depiction of you (or of someone you are authorized to represent) was published on Solmeera without consent, request removal by emailing safety@solmeera.com with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. A description that lets us identify the image.
  3. Information that helps us locate it on Solmeera (e.g., the username it appears under).
  4. A statement, in good faith, that the image is of you — or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the depicted person (such as a parent, legal guardian, or person acting under power of attorney) — and that the image was published without the depicted person's consent.
  5. Contact information so we can reach you.

We will remove the depiction within 48 hours of a valid request and make reasonable efforts to remove identical copies. You do not need a lawyer to send a request. We will not be liable to anyone for good-faith removal of content reasonably believed to be a nonconsensual intimate visual depiction.

10.2 Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on Solmeera infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work.
  3. The location of the allegedly infringing material on Solmeera.
  4. Your contact information.
  5. A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  6. A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Send notices to:

DMCA Agent, Solmeera LLC
82 Wendell Avenue, Suite 100
Pittsfield, MA 01201
dmca@solmeera.com

We respond to valid notices in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512 and we will terminate accounts of repeat infringers. Our designated agent is registered with the United States Copyright Office.

10.3 Minor safety

If you believe a minor has registered, or that an image or profile of a minor appears on Solmeera, email safety@solmeera.com with enough information for us to find the account. We will remove it promptly. Where appropriate, we report to NCMEC and to law enforcement.

11. Disclaimers

Solmeera is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will meet your expectations, that it will be available without interruption, or that any defect will be corrected. We don't endorse any user, profile, content, or message.

We don't verify identities. We don't run background checks. We don't confirm anyone's age, marital status, denomination, location, or anything else they say about themselves. Use your judgment. Be cautious about sharing personal information until you trust the person on the other end.

The matching score and AI suggestions are tools to help you, not professional advice. We don't promise that matching will produce a relationship, a marriage, or anything else.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solmeera and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of Solmeera.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solmeera's total liability to you for all claims relating to Solmeera or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid Solmeera in the one month before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree that any claim relating to your use of Solmeera must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to the claim, or it is permanently barred.

Some states don't allow some of these limitations, in which case the limitations apply only to the extent permitted in your state. Massachusetts residents retain all non-waivable rights under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A and other consumer-protection laws.

13. Disputes, governing law, and forum

We hope to resolve any concern directly. Before either of us starts a lawsuit, you agree to email us at support@solmeera.com with a written description of the dispute and what you'd like, and we'll spend at least 60 days trying to resolve it informally.

If we can't resolve it that way:

  • Governing law. These Terms and any dispute relating to them or to your use of Solmeera are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its choice-of-law rules. Federal copyright, trademark, intellectual-property, and other federal laws also apply where relevant.

  • Forum. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state courts of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, or in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts (which hears Berkshire County matters in its Springfield seat). You and Solmeera consent to that jurisdiction and waive any objection on grounds of inconvenient forum.

  • Individual claims only. You and Solmeera each agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity. Neither of us will participate in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, except as required by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A or other non-waivable consumer-protection laws.

  • Sexual-assault carve-out. Notwithstanding the rest of this section, claims of sexual assault or sexual harassment occurring in connection with your use of Solmeera may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Small-claims carve-out. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court in our respective home county. This is the only exception to the Berkshire County forum above.

We don't require arbitration.

14. Termination

You can stop using Solmeera at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We may suspend or terminate your account, immediately and without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would put others at risk.

What survives termination. When your account ends — for any reason — Sections 10 (Reports and Removals), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Disputes), and 15 (General) survive.

15. General

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the Effective Date and ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Solmeera about Solmeera. They supersede any prior agreements.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

No third-party beneficiaries (except as expressly stated below).

Apple-specific terms. If you got Solmeera through the Apple App Store, you and we acknowledge:

  • This agreement is between you and Solmeera, not Apple. Solmeera (not Apple) is solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Solmeera.
  • Any product claims, including failure to conform to applicable warranty, are Solmeera's responsibility, not Apple's. To the extent any warranty applies and the app fails to conform, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you (if applicable); Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Solmeera's responsibility.
  • If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual-property rights, Solmeera (not Apple) is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

Google Play. If you got Solmeera through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply in addition to these Terms.
